Local communications with schools are coordinated through the weekly Head teacher’s briefings from the Director of Education.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines are safe and effective. 2 doses are being offered to children aged 12 to 15 to give them the best protection against COVID-19.

Responding to suspected and positive cases

Support for children and families

  • We are Bristol Bristol’s COVID-19 Response – people in urgent need can call the #WeAreBristol helpline to receive food, medicine and other necessities 0800 694 0184 (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm and Saturday to Sunday 10am- 2pm)
  • See Hear Respond Barnardo’srapid support for children and young people affected by coronavirus crisis. This webpage allows you to access support for families in need before they will require support for statutory agencies. 

Are you ok? Campaign

This campaign is coordinated by the Keeping Bristol Safe Partnership with the intention of supporting families and communities to check in with each other when professionals are less likely to be able to monitor and support during the pandemic.
