Breck Foundation is an award-winning charity working nationally to educate and empower young people, families and school communities against online grooming, exploitation and abuse.
Founded following the tragic loss of 14-year-old Breck Bednar, their work is centred around Breck's Story – a powerful, real-life account that helps young people understand how online grooming can happen and recognise when something isn't right.
They now have increased speaker availability across Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas, giving them greater capacity to work with local authorities to bring their online safety education to schools and communities throughout the region.
Their sessions include:
Safeguarding & early intervention – helping young people recognise grooming and exploitation before harm escalates.
Online safety & digital resilience – giving young people practical tools to navigate gaming, social media and the wider online world more safely.
Exploitation awareness – exploring grooming, criminal exploitation and radicalisation with age-appropriate content.
Wellbeing & healthy digital behaviours – encouraging healthier relationships with technology and the online world.
What schools say:
"The presentation was invaluable for our children, delivered with sensitivity while keeping pupils engaged throughout. The tone and pace were exactly right, and the content was both accessible and powerful."
