Bristol, August 2025 — In a powerful initiative to combat knife crime and serious violence, the Keeping Bristol Safe Partnership (KBSP) Shadow Board is inviting young people across the city to take part in a series of youth-led workshops aimed at developing impactful social media resources and safeguarding messages.
The workshops, scheduled for 15th, 22nd, and 29th August (10am–4pm) at City Hall, are designed to empower young voices in shaping community safety. Participants will collaborate with families affected by knife crime, youth workers, and local colleges to create resources that speak directly to their peers, professionals, parents, and community guardians.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to address transitional safeguarding—supporting young people as they move between different stages of life and services—and to ensure that their voices are central to the solutions.
Youth and support workers are warmly welcomed, and attendance at all three sessions is not required.
