Graded Care Profile 2 Training for the Education Sector

Identify neglect early and create robust plans to address it.

Course Description

This course is intended for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), Deputy DSLs and other members of the setting’s safeguarding team.

This is licenced training from the NSPCC on how to use the Graded Care Profile 2 - an evidence based tool that clearly identifies what level of neglect is present, and the impact this is likely to have on children within the family. This tool allows practitioners to identify neglect early and create robust plans to address it.

You must have at least one staff member trained but it is best practice to have at least two members of staff trained in using this tool.

From completing the training, the attendee will be able to identify and explain, exactly what neglect issues exist within a family using language that everyone understands.
